Ex-Reds midfielder signing copies of Journeyman on Wednesday
Former Reds player, Ben Smith, will be in Redz Bar on Wednesday, 22nd July, before and after the Brighton friendly, promoting his new book, “Journeyman”.
From 6pm onwards, you will be able to either buy Ben’s book (if you haven’t already) or Ben will be happy to sign any copies already purchased. You will also have the opportunity after the game, too.
Ben is now working at Brighton & Hove Albion, as the U16s Lead Coach, so it will be an ideal opportunity for Brighton fans, as well as Crawley fans, to come along and meet him.
“Journeyman” has been given some rave reviews for its unique insight into the life of a lower league player and Ben has been conducting many radio interviews, including Radio 4 and 5, to share his experiences and talk about the book, including his time under Steve Evans when Reds won promotion to the Football League and reached the fifth round of the FA Cup against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
