Reading to face Reds in pre-season friendly
Reds will face FA Cup semi-finalists Reading in a pre-season game.Steve Clarke's Championship outfit will visit the Checkatrade.com Stadium on Monday, July 27, kick off 7.45pm.
The game could also see the return to Crawley of midfielder Hope Akpan, who played for Reds under Steve Evans and Richie Barker at the start of the club's Football League era before joining the Royals in January 2013, shortly after Reading, who were then a Premier League side, had won 3-1 at the Checkatrade.com Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup.
