TEAM NEWS

Lanre Oyebanjo (knee) and Joe McNerney (knee) are missing for the Reds. New signing Josh Emmanuel is added to the squad on duty against Northampton.

Keith Curle's Cumbrians welcome the Reds without any injury worries and they have also extended the loan of Bury striker Hallam Hope until January.

THE FORM GUIDE

The Reds come into Saturday's game having suffered their first home league loss in five on Tuesday night, 2-1 to Northampton Town, and means we currently sit in 15th place.

Carlisle United have won two of their last four league games. They come into the game off the back of an incredible comeback against Luton Town, which saw the Cumbrians recover from 3-1 down to win 4-3 thanks to goals from Charlie Wyke, Alex Gilliead, Jabo Ibehre and Derek Asamoah.

VIEW FROM THE BENCH

: "They are only five points ahead of us and are one of the teams we want to catch and climb the table. It was disappointing to lose on Tuesday but I have no doubts that this group will produce a positive reaction."Mark Yates

WE’VE MET BEFORE?

The clubs have met on four occasions in the Football League, all in League One, and the Reds have yet to lose. In 2012 we won 2-0 at Brunton Park and drew 1-1 there in November 2013 thanks to Billy Clarke's late equaliser. At home, both meetings have ended in draws - 1-1 in March 2013, when Mat Sadler scored, and 0-0 in April 2014.
