Successful international spell for on-loan defender

Reds' on-loan Josh Yorwerth started for Wales under-21s as they were held to a draw in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw in their Euro Under-21 qualifier against Romania.

The Romanians took the lead within the opening two minutes through Ionut Nedelcearu, but the lead didn't last lon, and ten minutes later Bristol City's Wes Burns equalised for the Welsh. It got worse for the Romanians when goalkeeper Laurentio Branescu was sent off just before half-time, but the home side were held to a draw despite sustained pressure from Geraint Williams' side.

Tonight's draw means Wales remain top of their group, a point clear of Denmark and Romania, having played five games thus far. Yorwerth will now re-join the Reds to prepare for our clash against Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
