Liam leads Irish to draw in Euro under-21 qualifier
Defender Liam Donnelly, who is on loan with Reds from Championship club Fulham, had the honour of captaining Northern Ireland under-21s on Tuesday night.Liam skippered the side in a European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Iceland in Reykjavik, which finished in a 1-1 draw.
It was Ireland's first point in the group after they had lost 2-1 to Scotland last Saturday.
Meanwhile, Shamir Fenelon was an unused substitute for the Republic of Ireland who won 2-0 in Andorra in their Euro qualifier.
Freddie Woodman played for England under-19s against Germany last Friday in a 3-2 win.
All three are due back in the UK today with Freddie and Liam joining up with the squad again on Thursday as they prepare for the return to SkyBet League 2 action on Saturday at Mansfield Town.
Shamir is on loan with National League South club Whitehawk until the end of September.
