Squad hit the heights in Tilgate Forest

Reds' fans will be hoping their team hit the heights in League Two this season.

Off the pitch, they already have after the squad visited the Go Ape outdoor climbing centre in Tilgate Forest.

Led by assistant manager Jimmy Dack, the players strapped on their harnesses and took to the trees 50 feet or more above the ground for an afternoon of enjoyable team building.

Jimmy said: "A couple of the lads had experienced it before so knew what to expect but for the majority it was unreal!

"Physically it is quite demanding because you have to do a lot of climbing, it's not just going to the top of a tree and sliding down which I must admit a few of us were expecting!

"One or two of the lads aren't that keen on heights either but we had a really good afternoon, with a lot of laughs.

"I'd like to thank everyone at Go Ape for their help. It was something different for the players to enjoy and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."
