Crawley Town sign defender Josh Yorwerth from Ipswich
Reds have today added defender Josh Yorwerth to the squad after he joined Ipswich Town on a month-long loan.
The 20-year-old joined the Championship club in the summer and made an immediate impact with a goal on his debut in the Capital One Cup victory over Stevenage in August.
Capped at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level by Wales, Bridgend-born Josh was with Cardiff City before heading to Portman Road.
Manager Mark Yates said: “Josh is highly regarded by Ipswich and we’re delighted Mick McCarthy has allowed us to have him for a month. We have a few defenders out with injury at the moment but Josh is going to be an excellent addition to the squad.”
Josh has been signed in time to join the squad which have travelled to Rodney Parade this morning for tonight’s Sky Bet League 2 game against Newport County. He will wear squad no. 25.
