Sonny believes Reds can bounce back on Saturday

Skipper Sonny Bradley expects a positive response to last Saturday's defeat at Mansfield when Reds return to the Checkatrade.com Stadium this weekend.

Yeovil Town, who came down with us from League One in May, are the visitors as Reds look to put the 4-0 loss to the Stags behind them.

Sonny said: "It was my birthday on Sunday and to be honest I didn't feel much like celebrating after the result!

"We didn't need the boss to tell us how poor we were but it's up to us as a squad to produce the right response on Saturday against Yeovil - no excuses.

"We can't feel sorry for ourselves. We have got to get back to the ways we showed in the previous three matches when we kept clean sheets and were very hard to beat."

Sonny expects another tough challenge from Yeovil, even though the Glovers have started slowly with one win so far and are struggling with a lengthy injury list.

"It might even be more physical than Mansfield, but that's what this league is about," he added.

"You have to earn the right to play your football and we didn't do that on Saturday. It's one of the things we must learn from the game."

Reds will be without Gwion Edwards, who starts a three-match suspension.

"We'll miss Gwion because he's been one of our most consistent players and he's also got three goals for us," added Sonny. "But we had guys like Luke Rooney on the bench on Saturday who's a quality player to come in."
