Club owner thanks fans and staff for their ongoing support
To the Crawley Town Family
It is nearly the end of 2016 and an important time to assess what has been happening at the club. I personally would like to thank all members of staff, on and off the pitch, for their continued passion and hard work.
Since the takeover a lot has happened at the club. On the pitch we have a young, attacking side who try to play entertaining football. There have been a few results we may not like, but the overall performances and mentality have been very encouraging. Crawley Town have a style of play and the players give 100 per cent and this is truly pleasing.
Dermot is a natural leader and has the Crawley Town family smiling on Christmas Day. In the new year, Selim Gaygusuz, our Director of Football, will continue his fine job in supporting Dermot achieve the right acquisitions and improve the football department.
Our commercial department is reaching new heights. Well done to Graham for his professionalism and dedication. Our sponsors have increased and we are always grateful for all their continued support during the last eight months.
Off the pitch, Kelly has led her team to improve the everyday running of the club. Kelly’s genuine love for the club is matched by fellow senior members of staff Bruce and Clare.
I thank every Crawley Town staff member for their hard work. They have made a difficult task look easy.
I personally want to thank all the fans for their passion and love for this club. Increasing attendances and noise at home games will only make the Checkatrade an even stronger fortress. Since the takeover there has been a real positivity among them. We truly appreciate this and need you even more going forward. We are always brainstorming on how to interact with the fans better and to improve the match day experience.
I wish the whole Crawley Town family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It has been a fabulous eight months since the takeover. The club is a family and we are growing. Thank you everyone and enjoy your holiday.
