Crawley Town proud to be sponsoring 3:00 race at Plumpton today
The Reds will have their name on the 3pm race this afternoon at Plumpton.The club's catering partner Strong Flavours UK have kindly allowed us the opportunity to sponsor the Handicap Chase on Monday afternoon's racecard at the East Sussex track.
The contest over 2 miles and 3 furlongs has eight runners for four year-olds and upwards, with the winning owner of the race sponsored by the club receiving £3,249.
The second placed owner will receive £924, with the connections to the third horse picking up £477 and the fourth placed owner taking home £238.
The favourite is likely to be 'Tikkapick' who is trained by Mr Colin Tizzard.
His closest competition could come from Bonds Quest who finished one place ahead of the Tizzard trained horse when the two were last seen over 2m 5f at Fontwell - the pair finished fourth and fifth respectively.
Reds fans wishing to back a horse at a bigger price should look at Goring Two who has finished third over fences earlier in the season.
