Appeal lodged with FA over Simon Walton's dismissal against Accrington
The club can confirm that they have today lodged an appeal with the Football Association relating to the sending off of midfielder Simon Walton in Saturday’s 4-1 defeat at Accrington Stanley on the grounds of wrongful dismissal.
Simon, together with two Accrington players, were dismissed by referee Andy Haines during the second half of the League 2 match at the Wham Stadium.
