A look at our League history against Stevenage

Reds make their third visit as a League club to the Lamex Stadium on Saturday and will be hoping to complete their second double of the season, after beating Cambridge United 3-0 at the Abbey Stadium and 1-0 in West Sussex.

The team that day was: P. Jones, M. Jones, McFadzean, Walsh, Sadler; Adams, Bulman, Simpson, Drury; Alexander, Proctor. Subs used: Hurst, Sinclair.

 

Our only previous League game there came in December 2012. Reds arrived without a League win in seven but they came from behind to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Bulman, against his former club, and Hope Akpan. 259 Reds’ fans watched in a crowd of 3066.

 

Our team was: P. Jones, Hunt, Davis. Connolly, Sadler; Torres, Akpan, Bulman, Simpson, M. Jones; Alexander. Subs used: Walsh, Akinde.

 

Both those games took place in League One and both home games finished in 1-1 draws. On Good Friday 2013 Matt Sparrow scored for Reds while Matt Tubbs was our marksmen when we met at home in March 2014, after missing an earlier penalty.
