Past meetings with Plymouth

Three previous meetings including home win in 2011

Reds will be protecting a 100% record in home games against Plymouth when promotion-chasing Argyle visit the Checkatrade Stadium on Saturday.

 

Mind you, we are only talking about one previous home meeting between the clubs!

 

That took place in October 2011 when two goals from Matt Tubbs, one in each half, sealed a 2-0 win for Reds. Plymouth were bottom of League 2 at that stage of the season and their line-up included Simon Walton, now with Reds but unfortunately suspended for Saturday’s game.

 

The return match the following January at Home Park finished 1-1, Argyle equalising in the final minute after Pablo Mills had put Reds in front on the stroke of half-time.
