TEAM NEWS
Joe McNerney (knee), Tom Dallison (broken toe) and Jimmy Smith (foot) are both missing for Reds while Simon Walton serves the final game of his suspension.
Bristol Rovers loanee Jake Gosling is expected to feature on Tuesday night, after failing to gain international clearance in time for County's game on Saturday. Alex Rodman (groin) could also return for the Exiles.
THE FORM GUIDE
Reds have only claimed seven points from their last ten games, with two wins and a draw in that time. Mark Yates' side come into the game off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Leyton Orient at the Matchroom Stadium on Saturday.
Newport claimed back-to-back home wins on Saturday for the first time this season, with impressive victories over play-off hopefuls Carlisle and Mansfield. County will be high on confidence after Scott Boden's late goal dented the Stags play-off hopes at Rodney Parade. Top scorer Boden, who has 12 for the season, has netted in their last five games.
VIEW FROM THE BOSS
"I am certainly expecting a big response to Saturday's performance that's for sure. We have put it behind us and are concentrating on a tough game against a side in excellent form at the moment."
WE’VE MET BEFORE?
This will be the sixth meeting between the clubs, but only the second in the Football League.
