Past meetings with Mansfield

A look at our previous seven games against the Stags

Reds meet Mansfield for the eighth time on Saturday, but this will be the first game at the Checkatrade.com Stadium in the Football League.

The previous seven games have yet to produce a draw while Reds have won the last two meetings between the clubs at home.

Our last match here against the Stags was on March 29, 2011, when Reds were heading towards the Conference title. Goals from Kyle McFadzean and Matt Tubbs secured a 2-0 victory in front of a crowd of 3,162. Reds completed the double over Mansfield, having won 4-1 at Field Mill back in October 2010 thanks to two goals from Craig McAllister, a brilliant volley by Dannie Bulman and Tubbs.

In the 2009-10 campaign Mansfield did the double over Reds, winning 4-0 at home on the opening day of the season and 2-0 at Crawley in November 2009.

Both sides won at home in the 2008-09 campaign. Reds beat Mansfield 2-1 in September 2008 when Adam Quinn and Jamie Cook struck to put Reds top of the table but Mansfield won 1-0 at home in January 2009.

Earlier this season, Reds were thumped 4-0 at Mansfield and had Gwion Edwards sent off so they will be looking to avenge that setback on Saturday.
