TEAM NEWS

Joe McNerney (knee) and Jimmy Smith (foot) and Lanre Oyebanjo (knee) are all missing for the Reds. Ross Jenkins picked up a knock to his foot late on against Yeovil but should be fit for Saturday.

Mansfield could welcome defender Mal Benning back, after an injury that has kept him sidelined for three months. Adi Yussuf has made two substitute appearances in the Stags' last two games as he continues to build match fitness and scored the winner at Morecambe on Tuesday. Ex-Reds Brian Jensen and Scott Shearer are also in the squad.

THE FORM GUIDE

The Reds' impressive home form was brought to a halt a fortnight ago, after Notts County claimed a 1-0 win at the Checkatrade.com Stadium thanks to Filip Valencic's second-half strike. Mark Yates brings his side into Saturday's clash off the back of a disappointing 2-1 loss to Yeovil Town, which saw Lee Barnard claim his first Reds' goal.

Adam Murray's side have only won two of their last eight league games, including their 2-1 win over Morecambe on Tuesday night which saw Chris Clements and Adi Yussuf score two goals in the last five minutes to snatch three points.

VIEW FROM THE BOSS

"We were very poor at Mansfield back in September and I think that is in the back of the minds of the lads who played. We have shown to be a better side than we were that day since then and we'd like to erase the memory of that game on Saturday.

"We've been able to do a lot of good work in training this week back on grass and the players have had a good discussion about last Saturday's game and the need to keep standards high and get back to the levels of performance we produced not too long ago."

WE’VE MET BEFORE?

Mansfield claimed a 4-0 victory over Mark Yates' side back in September, in the first meeting between the two side's in a Football League clash. We were regular opponents in our Conference days. In our promotion-winning season in 2010-11 the Reds won 4-1 at Field Mill at 2-0 in West Sussex.
