Reds draw Saints, Addicks and U's...
Crawley Town will face Southampton, Charlton Athletic and Colchester United in the Group Stages of the EFL Trophy.The draw, which was made on Wednesday morning, seeded the Reds in South Section Two of the competition.
Each group consists of four teams, including a Category 1 Academy team. Each club will play each other once - either home or away. The game against the Saints will see Dermot Drummy's men face an Under-23 side from the Premier League club.
We will host Colchester United during the week commencing 29th August, travel to The Valley to play Charlton Athletic the week commencing 3rd October, and we then face Southampton at St Mary's during the week commencing the 7th November.
Further ticket details and kick-off times, as well as finalised dates for the matches, will be confirmed when we have them.
