More new signings in the pipeline

Dermot Drummy insists that player recruitment is going well with pre-season training due to start next week.

"I'm happy with what we have at the moment," he said.


"I'm not panicking either, because we're not going to fill all the places in the squad too early.

 

"I want to work with the players I'm picking, I want to improve the players as a whole - both on and off the pitch.


"We want to develop them both as players and people."


The Head Coach emphasised that the recruitment process off the field is equally important as that on it, too.

 

"We've just appointed a strength and conditioning coach who's been with some big clubs and we will be announcing his appointment next week. 


"He will be part of what I think is a very professional back-room team.

 

"We're looking at where we can improve all around the club. 

 

"We are investing in a lot of areas to make this club as professional as we can on and off the field."
