Eight squad players involved in closed-doors game against Sutton United

Eight squad players were involved in a behind closed-doors friendly against Conference South Sutton United at the Checkatrade Stadium today.


Reds won the game 2-1 thanks to second-half goals from one of eight trialists who played and a late own goal.


Callum Preston, Gavin Tomlin and Bobson Bawling played for the full 90 minutes, Lee Barnard, Lewis Young were involved for an hour and Simon Walton, Josh Yorwerth and Roarie Deacon came off at half-time.


Louis John, who was on Crawley's books during the 2012-13 season, was among the players in action for the visitors.
