Past meetings with Saturday's opponents Luton Town
Saturday’s League 2 game at Kenilworth Road will be the eight game between Reds and Luton Town but only our second in the Football League and first at Luton.
There were four meetings between the clubs in the Conference.
On September 1 2009 the first meeting finished in a 3-0 Luton win at Kenilworth Road, but Steve Evans’ men gained revenge the following February when they won 2-1 at the Checkatrade Stadium in front of a crowd of 2,119 thanks to two goals from Ben Smith.
In Reds’ Conference-title winning season in 2010-11 we won 2-1 at Luton in October 2010 thanks to goals from Craig McAllister and a late winner by Richard Brodie.
Crawley were already champions by the time Luton visited in April 2011 and the game finished in a 1-1 draw.
Last season Reds won 1-0 at Kenilworth Road in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy thanks to a second-half goal by Gwion Edwards.

Three weeks later Luton were back in the first round of the FA Cup and gained revenge by winning 2-1 thanks to a stoppage-time goal after Harrold had put Reds in front.
