More on our new Dutch signing

Dutch midfielder Enzio Boldewijn is the first new face through the door at the Checkatrade Stadium during what is expected to be a busy summer and also Head Coach Dermot Drummy's first new recruit.

Here’s a closer look at our newest recruit…

Enzio can operate on either flank, and can play as either a winger or a striker. He started his career with FC Utrecht where he stayed from 2011 to 2013.

During that time with the side he made 11 appearances for the club, in the meantime he was loaned out to FC Den Bosch for 31 matches.

He moved to Almere City in 2013.

•          IN DEMAND: Reds beat off competition from a number of clubs in Enzio’s homeland to secure his signature.

•          IN FORM: This season Enzio has 12 goals and nine assists in 40 league and cup games.

•          LEAGUE FORM: Enzio scored 10 goals in the Dutch second division last season, and Almere City lost only one of those matches in which he was on the scoresheet.

•          IMPACT: In a 4-3 away win over Jong PSV in December 2015, Enzio scored two goals in just 29 minutes on the field to help Almere City to victory.

•          SOCIAL: Our new man is on Twitter ‘@EnzioBoldewijn’ and Instagram as ‘@enzioboldewijn’
