Josh Payne on his return to side in thrilling win on Saturday
Josh Payne was delighted to play the entire 90 minutes of the side's thrilling 3-2 win over Grimsby Town on Saturday afternoon.
The midfielder made a return to the starting eleven for the first time in two and a half months and played a vital role in a hard-fought victory.
"We knew it was going to be a hard game today," he told Reds Player HD after the win over the Mariners.
"We'd had a bit of a sticky patch and knew we had to pull ourselves together - and for me personally it was great to be back.
"It's been difficult because I've been out for over ten weeks and it's difficult to replicate games no matter how much fitness work you do.
"It's a case of finding my feet again and hopefully I'll get back to it now."
