Roberts injury update

20 September 2016

Midfielder out for another 2-4 weeks

Winger faces further spell on the sidelines after a scan on Monday.

Head Coach Dermot Drummy has today confirmed that midfielder Jordan Roberts faces another period on the sidelines after suffering a hairline fracture of his toe.

The midfielder returned to action on Saturday in the 2-0 win over Luton Town, but a scan on Monday revealed the fracture and Jordan will be out for 2-4 weeks.

Dermot said: "It's a big disappointment for Jordan to get this injury just after he had come back into the squad on Saturday.

"It's going to keep him out for a couple of weeks at least, but he's a fit lad and once he gets the green light to resume full training it won't be long before he's up to speed."
