Three to watch for the Robins on Friday afternoon

The Reds face the Robins on Good Friday afternoon looking to make amends for last Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Plymouth Argyle (3pm).


We've picked out three of the key men in the Cheltenham Town squad ahead of Friday's game...


Harry Pell

 

Charlton Athletic academy product who signed for Bristol Rovers in 2010. Made a loan move to Hereford United permanent at the conclusion of the 2010/11 season before signing for AFC Wimbledon in the January of 2013. Became a mainstay in the side for a season before spending the second half of the second season at Eastleigh. Was released from the London side at the end of the campaign and subsequently played a pivotal role in the side’s title winning season during 2015/16 – has seven goals so far for the campaign.

 

Danny Wright

 

This season the forward has 10 goals to his name – and he managed an impressive 22 strikes in the Vanarama National title winning season. Was signed on a free from Kidderminster Harriers in the summer of 2015 having previously spent time in non-league with Gateshead, Forest Green Rovers, Wrexham, Cambridge United and Histon.

 

Billy Waters

 

Former Crewe Alexandra trainee spent three years in the club’s academy. During that time he made 12 league appearances scoring twice, before moving to the Robins before the start of the 2015/16 season. This season the striker is the side’s top scorer – he’s netted 14 times so far this term.
