A look at Reds' record against Robins

A look back at previous meetings with Friday's opponents Cheltenham Town.

The Robins ran out 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture between the sides back in October – despite Kaby Djalo’s long range strike in the second half, his first goal for the club.

The Reds fell behind early on when a long ball over the top split the visiting defence open, allowing Billy Waters in on goal before he fired low past Glenn Morris to give the hosts an early lead.

Jack Munns doubled the advantage just after the hour mark when he volleyed home stylishly after a knockdown from Danny Wright to put Gary Johnson’s men in full control.

Djalo’s long range effort came soon after, before Bobson Bawling fired against the bar as the Reds pushed late on, unable to find an equalising goal.

An extra time strike from Byron Harrison had secured the Robins a win in the meeting before – it sealed a 4-3 win for the hosts in a League Cup encounter at the start of the 2013/14 season.

minute.thNicky Adams’ brace and a Gary Alexander strike had been cancelled out by Matt Richards, Terry Gornell and Harrison respectively before the latter sent the hosts through to the next round in the 114

Crawley’s only win over today’s opponents to date came in the 2011/12 season when braces from Sanchez Watt and Tyrone Barnett gave the Reds a 4-2 win.
