PREVIEW | Birmingham City

A full look ahead to the Carabao Cup tie against the Blues

7 August 2017

The Reds travel to St Andrew’s on Tuesday evening to face Birmingham City in the First Round of the Carabao Cup (7.45pm).

The meeting will be the first ever between the two teams, with Harry Kewell’s men looking to make amends for Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Port Vale.

The Blues began their Sky Bet Championship campaign with a 1-0 defeat away to Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.

There have been three new arrivals at St Andrew's this summer - midfielder Craig Gardner has joined on a season-long loan from West Brom, defender Marc Roberts has joined from fellow Championship side Barnsley, and Cheikh Ndoye has arrived from French side Angers.

The Ticket News:

Reds fans will be able to buy tickets for the game up until 12pm from the Ticket Office at the stadium on Tuesday - and then on the gate on the night - with no change in prices.
