Darren Drysdale to take charge at Cheltenham Town

Officials for trip to LCI Rail Stadium on Saturday afternoon confirmed

10 August 2017

Darren Drysdale will take charge of the Reds' trip to Cheltenham Town on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

The Lincolnshire based official was in charge during midweek when Doncaster Rovers ran out 3-2 winners over Bradford City at Valley Parade, and he was also the man in the middle on the opening day when Forest Green Rovers drew 2-2 at home to Barnet last weekend.

Last year he officiated 22 games across the EFL and it's competitions, issuing 67 yellow cards and three reds.

Mr Drysdale has taken charge of the Reds on three previous occasions. In the club's debut season in the Football League he was in charge of the 1-1 draw away to Hereford United as well as when the Reds drew by the same scoreline with AFC Wimbledon in April of the 2011-12 season.

More recently he was the referee when the Reds fell to a 1-0 defeat away to Bradford City during the 2014-15 campaign.

He will be assisted by Mr Ravel Cheosiaua and Mr Christopher Husband - the fourth official will be Mr Simon Shaw.

It's pay on the day for Reds fans on Saturday afternoon at Whaddon Road - find pricing details here.
