Ibrahim Meite insists he can't wait to get started in West Sussex after he joined the club on loan from Cardiff City on Friday afternoon.
The striker has made the switch until January and emphasised how much he was looking forward to playing a part in the side over the coming weeks.
"I'm really happy to be here, it's a good club and I'm excited for the next few months," he told iFollow Crawley.
"I heard of the interest at the end of last week and so I had some conversations with the manager at Cardiff City - then I decided it was something that I had to look at."
The young forward emphasised that the chance to work under Head Coach Harry Kewell was also a big influencing factor in him making the loan move from the Welsh side.
"He's a very big name," he continued.
"He's played at a big club with some famous players, so I'll be looking to impress him and knuckle down a place in the team.
"It's a great chance for me to get some experience and hopefully contribute goals and help the team."
