Jordan Roberts believes that Saturday's 3-0 win over Swindon Town can be the catalyst the side needs to go on a good run of form.
Coming into the contest without a win, the Reds swept the Robins aside to move up the table and register their first points of the 2017-18 campaign.
"Today can really help us push on now," he told iFollow Crawley.
"The lads are going back with smiles on their faces - it's big for us and the fans as we know the last few weeks haven't been easy.
"We've shown we can stick together as a group and play well to win matches."
The midfielder grabbed the second goal in the victory at the County Ground, and operated up front with fellow wideman Enzio Boldewijn in Wiltshire.
"I'm in the side to be a threat - whether that's up front or out wide, anywhere on the pitch," he continued.
"I like shooting from outside the box or anywhere where I've got some time and space.
"I just tried my luck and thankfully it's ended up going in with a bit of a deflection."
