Gavin Ward will take charge of Saturday's game against Mansfield Town at the Checkatrade Stadium, kick off 3pm.
It will be the Surrey official's second Reds' appointment this season. He was also referee when we drew 0-0 at Grimsby Town in October.
The Surrey-based official has taken charge of 20 games across the EFL and it's associated competitions so far this season, issuing 52 yellow cards and two reds.
Mr Ward took charge of two games involving the Reds last season, the 2-0 home win over Luton Town in September 2016 and the 2-1 away win to Wycombe Wanderers back in February.
He also refereed three games in the 2015-16 campaign - the 2-1 win over Luton Town, the 1-0 win away to Stevenage and the 1-0 defeat at home to Carlisle United as well as five other occasions over the previous four seasons.
He will be assisted by Nick Cooper and Andrew Laver. The fourth official is Steve Brown.
