Reds will pay tribute to Dermot Drummy before tomorrow’s home game against Mansfield Town.
There will be a minute’s applause before kick-off which we hope the supporters of both clubs will respectfully join in.
There is also a tribute to Dermot in tomorrow’s edition of Reds, our matchday programme, which is on sale around the stadium priced £3.
Writing in Saturday’s programme, Head Coach Harry Kewell said: "I never met Dermot, but when I was working at Watford’s Academy I became aware from talking to people of the work he did in developing top players, both at Arsenal and then at Chelsea.
:Obviously, I took over from Dermot as Head Coach here and inherited many of the players he signed. They always talked fondly about him and he clearly instilled in them a strong work ethic and a belief in how the game should be played.
"I’m sure everyone will want to produce a performance on Saturday that Dermot would have enjoyed watching.”
