Harry Kewell says he will have some tough selection decisions to make ahead of Saturday’s home game against Mansfield Town.
Jimmy Smith, Josh Yorwerth and Thomas Verheydt (pictured above) have all recovered from injury and are available for the visit of the high-flying Stags.
HK said: “We gave the lads a few days off last weekend and they have all come back in this week fit and ready to go.
“Hopefully we can get through this busy period coming up with a clean bill of health. It would certainly help with the schedule that’s coming up to have everyone available and, more importantly, ready to do a job for the team.
“But with Jimmy, Josh and Thomas all back I’ve got some excellent options for Saturday. The mood in the camp is really good. The lads continue to work hard and they know that if they impress me in training and with their general attitude they will get an opportunity.
“Every manager will tell you that competition for places is absolutely the biggest thing to drive the squad forward and hopefully keep the good run we’re on going.”
