Ben Toner will be in charge when Reds head to Crewe Alexandra on Saturday in Sky Bet EFL 2.
It will be the fifth time the Lancashire official has refereed a Reds game – and we have lost all of the previous four.
They include last season’s trips to Portsmouth (0-3) and Bristol Rovers (2-4) and the 2-1 home defeat to Plymouth. His first Crawley appointment was a 1-0 home loss to Yeovil in September 2015.
In 16 games this season he has given out two red and 45 yellow cards.
His assistants on Saturday are Iain Siddall and David Plowright. The fourth official is David Richardson.
