Conor Henderson on Blackpool draw and return to starting action
Conor Henderson was enthusiastic about the point the side picked up at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday evening against Blackpool.
The two sides played out a competitive 0-0 draw in the north-west, and the midfielder was keen to highlight it's importance given the previous few matches and the busy month ahead.
"I'm delighted with how it's turned out this season - to start tonight and and get a point after the defeats in the last two is massive for us," he told Reds Player HD.
"We've got a lot of matches coming up this month and it's a positive start."
The midfielder last started a league game for the Reds during his previous spell with the club over two years ago, and he emphasised how different the club now feels compared to his previous time with the Reds.
"It's a lot more positive, that's what I said when I signed permanently last month.
"The way the manager wants to play is why I'm hopeful it can be a successful season."
