Billy Clifford was full of praise for the side and the club when he spoke after Saturday's game against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Last week had marked a year since the midfielder arrived at the club, and he was quick to highlight how enjoyble the time with the Reds so far had been.

"I'm really enjoying my time here," he told iFollow Crawley.

"It's a great club with a great group of players.

"I want to push on and really achieve something here with the club and boys."

Billy made 42 appearances in all competitions last season, and he was ambitious when talking about what both he and the side want to achieve this season.

"I want to try and play more than last year and kick on again.

"I think it's a real family club and a club that can go places.

"We've definitely got the quality here and the manager works us hard - so who knows what the future holds."
