Harry Kewell previews Saturday's game with East Grinstead

Harry Kewell insists he's looking forward to the games getting underway ahead of Saturday's game against East Grinstead Town at East Court (3pm).

The Head Coach will take to the dugout for the first time against the Wasps and he was keen to stress how well the training sessions have gone so far.

"I can't wait to get started and get the games going now," he told iFollow Crawley.

"The boys have been reacting well to not only me, but my sessions as well and that's really pleasing.

"Saturday gives them another chance to keep working on their fitness and the important thing for them is they'll get the chance to play."

"You work hard at this time of year and that's your foundation.

"It's important that they boys have the mental toughness and that's what we're trying to install in them."

Thursday saw the club complete the signing of midfielder Dennon Lewis on loan from Watford and the permnanent capture of striker Thomas Verheydt from MVV Maastricht.

The Head Coach shed some light on the new duo and emphasised his pleasure at having them on board for the new season.

"Dennon has a chance to prove to everybody what he can do while he's here with us - he's got great ability.

"Then Thomas is someone I'm thrilled to have on board, he's big, strong, aggressive and he can finish and that's what I like."
