The fixture list for the 2017-18 campaign was confirmed this morning with the Reds beginning life in the league under Harry Kewell by taking on Port Vale on the opening weekend.
The Valiants will visit the Checkatrade Stadium on Saturday 5th August (3pm), before the side will then travel to Cheltenham Town seven days later for their first away game of the new season.

August also sees Cambridge United visit West Sussex before Kewell's men travel to the County Ground to face Swindon Town to complete the first month of the campaign.
Seven league games await the Reds in a busy month during September, four of which are at home and the other three away.
Succesive away games at Morecambe and Grimsby Town respectively kick off October, before we host Chesterfield and Luton Town before ending the month away to newly promoted Lincoln City.
The side will travel to Accrington Stanley on Saturday 23rd December before hosting Colchester United at the Checkatrade Stadium on Boxing Day three days later. Saturday 30th December sees Kewell's men at home to Stevenage before a trip to Huish Park to face Yeovil Town on the first day of 2018.
The Reds will be at home to Swindon Town on Easter Monday and then face Port Vale, Exeter City, Coventry City and Crewe Alexandra over the course of the remainder of the month.
The campaign will end at the One Call Satdium on Saturday 5th May away to Mansfield Town.
