Deadman in charge

13 March 2017

Referee and assistants for Crewe Alexandra game confirmed

Darren Deadman will take charge of the Reds' game at home to Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday evening (7-45pm).

The Cambridgeshire official will referee a game involving the Reds for the second time this season having previously taken charge of the FA Cup First Round game at home to Bristol Rovers at the start of November - a contest which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Mr Deadman has officiated 40 games across the EFL and cup competitions so far this season - issuing 133 yellow cards and seven reds.

The referee had previously officiated the side's 3-1 League Cup loss away to Norwich City back in August 2014, as well as a preliminary round win in the same competition over AFC Wimbledon in 2011 and a 3-0 defeat to Portsmouth in 2012 in League One.

He will be assisted by Mr Kevin Howick and Mr Andrew Aylott. The fourth official will be Mr Nigel Lugg.
