Bully's back!

Reds sign midfielder for his third spell at the club

19 May 2017

The club are delighted to announce that midfielder Dannie Bulman is returning to the Reds for a third spell on a one-year contract with the option of an extra year.

‘Bully’ has already made 276 appearances for the Reds – with his most recent spell coming across a four-year period between 2010-14 when he enjoyed back-to-back promotions.

The 38 year-old was a key part of the side that stormed to the Conference National title in the 2010-11 campaign and remained a mainstay in the League Two promotion winning team the following season.

He left the club in 2014 and had three seasons with AFC Wimbledon.

He was an integral part of the Dons side who got promoted from this division to League One a year ago and played 44 games for them this season in all competitions.

The midfielder has won four promotions during his career and is delighted to be back on familiar territory.

He said: “Crawley is a club close to my heart. I was gutted when I had to leave three years ago but it’s great to be back at the start of what is going to be an exciting era for the club with a new manager coming in.

“There aren’t many lads who were here before but the set-up here is very familiar. I’m fit and raring to go and I’m looking forward to making a big contribution next season.”

We spoke exclusviely to the midfielder when he put pen to paper on Friday afternnon and fans can watch that interview below.
