Head Coach Harry Kewell was understandably delighted with his team's performance and 3-1 win over Exeter City on Tuesday evening.
The Reds were in need of a reaction following their disappointment at the weekend at Wycombe Wanderers and despite going a goal behind against the run of play, got exactly that.
"Excellent performance, from the get go really. Exeter are a wonderful team but tonight the boys showed confidence, they showed willingness to get on the ball, the stuck to the plan and they dominated the first 20 minutes." Kewell told iFollow Crawley.
"We conceded the goal but they didn't let their heads dropped, they kept working and we got our goal and kept on driving."
Jordan Roberts came off the bench to score a brace and secure three points for the Reds, and his manager was overjoyed for him.
"It was fantastic for him - Jordan gave his all the other day but the chances didn't quite fall for him.
"Everyone gives their all, there's a lot of competition in this squad, so when they get their opportunities they will take it and fair play to Jordan he took it with two great goals."
