Head Coach Harry Kewell was pleased to pick up four points in two "tough" games, following the 1-1 draw away at Coventry City.
The side came into the game off the back of an excellent 3-1 victory against Exeter City in midweek, and the gaffer was proud of his player's reaction in both games after last weekend's disappointment at Wycombe Wanderers.
"We came here and did a job, I thought the first half was excellent and the goal was wonderfully worked and then sometimes you've just got to dig it out, which I felt we did at times." Harry told iFollow Crawley.
"For me I was proud of them - two big games, four points so now we continue and can look forward to Fulham on Wednesday."
Jordan Roberts gave Kewell's men the lead just before half time with his third goal in two games before the Sky Blues equalised in the 73rd minute and subsequently went on the offensive in search of a winner.
The Reds were at times stretched but the gaffer felt his side managed the pressure well whilst still keeping themselves alive in an attacking sense.
"At that stage of the game [last 15 minutes] you've got to be smart, you've got to be cute and you've got to think about your positioning.
"They were leaving two at the back at times and if we had a bit more quality and were a bit more switched on we could've taken some late chances."
