Gavin Ward will take charge of Saturday's game against Grimsby Town at Blundell Park (3pm).
The Surrey based official has taken charge of 11 across the EFL and it's associated competitions so far this season, issuing 40 yellow cards and one red.
Mr Ward took charge of two games involving the Reds last season, the 2-0 home win over Luton Town last September and the 2-1 away win to Wycombe Wanderers back in February.
He also refereed three games in the 2015/16 campaign - the 2-1 win over Luton Town, the 1-0 win away to Stevenage and the 1-0 defeat at home to Carlisle United as well as five other occasions over the last four seasons.
He will be assisted by Mr Matthew Jones and Mr Michael Denton - the fourth official will be Mr Paul Thompson.
