Darren Handley to referee Barnet game

Officials for Saturday's game at the Hive confirmed

20 September 2017

Darren Handley will take charge of Saturday’s game with Barnet at the Hive.

The Lancashire based official has taken charge of seven games across the EFL and it’s respective competitions so far this season – issuing 24 yellow cards and one red. His last appointment was Blackpool’s 3-1 victory over Oxford United at Bloomfield Road last weekend.

Last year Mr Handley was the man in the middle for Crawley Town’s 1-0 victory over Hartlepool United at the Checkatrade Stadium, where a bumper crowd of well over 4,000 watched on ‘Pay What You Can’ afternoon.

The year before, in the 2015-16 season he refereed the side’s 3-1 defeat away to Morecambe – that was his first game involving the Reds.

He will be assisted by Mr Stephen Finch and Mr Matthew Lee – the fourth official will be Mr Adam Crysell.

Tickets are available on the gate and online from Barnet directly, before the weekend – find all the details and prices by clicking here.
