Enzio Boldewijn looks ahead to Newport County AFC game on Tuesday evening

25 September 2017

Enzio Boldewijn insists that the Reds need to build on what he believes was their 'best performance of the season' against Barnet on Saturday, when they host Newport County AFC on Tuesday evening (7-45pm).

The Dutch winger recognised how much his side controlled the game, and highlighted the need to maintain that style when the Exiles visit West Sussex.

"We need to build on the weekend's result, I think Saturday's performance was the best of the season so far," he told iFollow Crawley.

"We were dominant and now we need to take that onto Tuesday evening.

"We were slightly frustrated at half time that we couldn't go ahead but we kept plugging away and were eventually rewarded."

"I feel like we were quite unlucky at the start of the season and were still dominating matches but just not winning," he continued.

"Now it's good that we've got the opportunity to follow that up quickly.

"When you're winning games you just want to keep momentum so that's what we'll be looking to do.

Enzio played his first season in country last year and knows the threat that Mike Flynn's men will pose having played against them home and away last season.

"They're a physical side, we know that from last year.

"But we also know that we're good at what we do when we move the ball quickly and get it on the floor.

"We know that on our day we can beat anyone."
