Craig Hicks will referee Tuesday evening’s game with Newport County AFC at the Checkatrade Stadium (7.45pm).
Mr Hicks has taken charge of eight games across the EFL and it’s competitions so far this season, issuing 26 yellow cards and one red.
His most recent appointment was Accrington Stanley’s 2-1 win away to Cheltenham Town at the LCI Rail Stadium on the 16th September.
The game against the Exiles will be his first in charge of the Reds. He will be assisted by Mr Declan Ford and Mr Stuart Butler – the fourth official will be Mr Sam Lewis.
