Plenty going on for Magpies' visit

Player escorts, dance group, flag bearers, school of the week and more for Notts County clash

15 September 2017

We have plenty going on for our supporters for Saturday’s game with Notts County at the Checkatrade Stadium!

We have three official mascots – George Coleman, Dawson Lavender and Sam Massey, who’ll be leading out the side ahead of kick-off.

Before the match we will also have KC Dance group performing on the pitch for fans in the build-up to the game and at half time. As well as this, our ‘School of the Week’ are Southwater Junior Academy who were selected by our Community Foundation after they have enjoyed a number of sessions ran by the foundation this past week – which ends in them coming to the game with the Magpies.

We have also have Reigate Leopards U11’s and Stone Cross Royals U10’s as our player escorts and flagbearers for the game too!

Stone Cross Royals Under 11 team play in the Sussex Sunday Youth League, and are a small family club from Eastbourne.

After a brilliant day last year at the Blackpool game last October which the Reds won, they hope to be the lucky mascots for the mighty reds once again this weekend.

The last season saw the Stone Cross Team win their first ever Tournament winning the final at Tunbridge Wells on penalties. A couple of the squad and coaches Keith and Robbie are avid Crawley fans and have spread the word to make Crawley Town the rest of the squads favourite team outside of the Premier League!
