The referee taking charge of Saturday’s trip to Port Vale has been confirmed.
Paul Marsden will be the man in the middle at Vale Park, in what will be only his second Football League appointment. Marsden will be the third referee in as many Crawley league matches this season who has made the jump from the National League.
His only other League match so far this season was Mansfield Town’s 3-0 home win over Newport County on the opening day of the season, where he gave out just one yellow card in that contest.
He will be assisted by David Benton and Richard Wigglesworth, and the fourth official is Matthew Jones.
