Michael Salisbury has been appointed as referee for Reds’ League 2 fixture at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

It will be his third time in charge of a Crawley game. He refereed last season’s 5-1 defeat at Birmingham City in the Carabao Cup and the goalless draw at home to Doncaster Rovers in March 2016.

It will be the Lancashire official’s fifth appointment of the season. So far he has given out 10 yellow cards while last season he took charge of 37 league and cup games and gave out 89 yellow and five red cards.

He will be assisted by Geoff Liddle and David Richardson. The fourth official is Mark Heywood.
