Enzio Boldewijn wins PFA Player of the Month award

9 February 2018

Enzo Boldewijn has been voted the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month for the English Football League 2 by football fans across the country.

In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, The Reds’ Dutch Striker won a closely-fought contest, receiving 26% of the vote for January. That knocked Coventry City forward, Marc McNulty (25%), into second place.

In the last of four divisional votes carried out over seven days via Snack’s digital and social networks, it was clear that Boldewijn’s goal-scoring-performances – where he grabbed two goals against Barnet and one against Accrington Stanley resonated with Crawley fans, as well as supporters of all teams.

The full list of contenders from the final shortlist polled were as follows:

  • Enzo Boldewijn (Crawley) - 26%
  • Marc McNulty (Coventry City) - 25%
  • Jack Bonham (Carlisle) – 18%
  • Jon Stead (Notts County) - 12%
  • Billy Kee (Accrington Stanley) – 10%
  • Sean McConville (Accrington Stanley) – 9%

The PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month vote opens again on Friday 2nd March 2018. To vote go to www.footballfancast.com/pfa-awards
