Martin Coy will be in charge when Reds head to Brunton Park on Saturday to face Carlisle United in Sky Bet League 2.
In 27 previous league and cup games this season he has given out 59 yellow and three red cards.
The County Durham official is in his first season at this level after four years refereeing in the National League. His only previous Crawley appointment came for last November's FA Cup first round defeat at Wigan Athletic.
On Saturday he will be assisted by Barry Cropp and Mark Cunliffe. The fourth official is Simon Clayton.
